CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO VISIT THE CLUBS!
- There are no current NSW Health restrictions for members and visitors entering Twin Towns, Club Banora and Twin Towns Juniors.
- Masks are not required on the premises. However, you are welcome to wear a mask if you wish.
- Singing and dancing is permitted throughout the Clubs.
OPERATING PROCEDURES WITHIN THE CLUBS RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) helps control the negative impact that alcohol has on our community. RSA has been part of the NSW Liquor Laws for more than 100 years.
RSA currently deals with:
- Minors accessing restricted areas
- Alcohol-related violence and crime
- Drunk and disorderly patrons
- Noise disturbance
To comply with RSA laws, licensees and venue staff must:
- Recognise the signs of impending intoxication
- Not serve anyone who shows these signs
- Not serve anyone who arrives already intoxicated
- Understand the principles of ‘standard drinks’and drink driving levels
- Discourage patrons from actions that can harm themselves or others
- Understand the impact of alcohol on our community
RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF GAMBLING
The Club is committed to providing safe, socially responsible and supportive environment where the potential harm associated with gambling is minimised. Twin Towns Services Clubs is a member of ClubSAFE; a program providing expert services to mitigate problem gambling.
DRESS CODE
The Club operates a variety of premises and provides experiences and facilities that reflect our community’s expectations. There is an expectation that the general demeanour, behaviour and dress standards of patrons will reflect the contemporary view of being acceptable with regards to our coastal holiday location. Special events and specific areas of the Club may see the Club impose higher standards as it determines appropriate.
Dress regulations are at the absolute discretion of management and the following is simply a guide for members and guests.
TWIN TOWNS SERVICES CLUB, CLUB BANORA AND TWIN TOWNS JUNIORS
Casual, clean attire including sporting attire and workwear is acceptable. Footwear must be worn. A higher overall standard is expected from 7.30pm daily. The wearing of hats is permissible.
EXAMPLES OF UNACCEPTABLE DRESS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:
Beach/Swimwear, football boots, immodest sleeveless shirts or other attire that is likely to cause offence by exposing excessive amounts of skin, clothing not designed to be worn as external apparel, soiled clothing and clothing with objectionable branding.
Children must be suitably attired at all times and footwear must be worn. Underage guests over the age of 15 years must conform to the above dress regulations.
Respect at Work Act 2022 (Sexual Harassment)
The Anti-Discrimination and Human Rights Legislation Amendment (Respect at Work) Act 2022 (Respect at Work Act 2022) was assented on the 12 December 2022.
All workers are entitled to a workplace free from sex-based misconduct. This applies to:
- conduct towards a worker or workers by another worker,
- conduct towards a worker or workers by a customer of the Club (including members, guests and visitors).
Unacceptable behaviour in any form will not be tolerated and may result in a member or guest being asked to leave the property which could also result in further disciplinary action.
SIGNING INTO OUR CLUBS
Entry to the Club is subject to relevant State Government legislation.
Guests who are not financial members of Twin Towns must produce photographic I.D. and sign into the Club as a visitor. Persons under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The Clubs utilise facial recognition technology to ensure any person who has been excluded from entering our properties is identified and refused entry. This includes those persons on the harm minimisation ‘self-exclusion list’.
Photography and/or video recording is not permitted in the Gaming Room areas.
