Twin Towns Early Learning Centre is now taking enrolments for children aged six weeks to six years ahead of its opening in early January 2020.

New owners Gavin Duffie, Mark Stapleton and Peter Anderson are leasing a Twin Towns-owned building in Recreation Street at Tweed Heads, which Twin Towns CEO Rob Smith said is perfectly positioned to cater for local families.

“This will be the Tweed business district’s first new childcare centre in many years and its location puts it in close proximity to some of the Tweed Shire’s largest employers, including Tweed Police, Tweed Heads Hospital, Tweed Mall and Tweed Heads Bowls Club.

“It will also be welcomed by the many Twin Towns staff who have pre-school aged children,” said Rob. “The move to lease the premises also fits with the Club’s ongoing diversification strategies.”

“Financial returns on our investments increase our revenue streams and enhance our ability to provide additional services, facilities and improvements to the Clubs for the benefit of members. The new centre will also provide a much-needed service for members and the entire local community.”

Co-owner Gavin Duffie said the Centre’s early childhood educators had been handpicked to ensure the programs offered reflect the centre’s philosophy.

“We want all parents and children to feel like the centre is their home away from home. It’s an environment rich with opportunities, where children can engage in learning that allows them to question, explore and most importantly, have some fun. “Our aim is to bring a modern, youthful approach to early childhood learning,” said Gavin.

Twin Towns Early Learning Centre will hold an open day from 9am-12pm NSW on Saturday 7 December. Parents are welcome to come along with the kids to see the new facilities.
