Club Banora was a sea of smiling faces when we launched the Twinnies Gives Mascot at the Free Family Fun Day at Club Banora in October.
The larger-than-life Black Cockatoo stole the show, busting out some cool dance moves, high-fiving everyone it met and posing for endless selfies with kids and parents alike.
True to form, the highly social and mischievous nature of the Cockatoo was also on display and we think the new Twinnies Gives mascot had just as much fun on the day as the kids!
Now permanently nesting at Twin Towns, expect to see our feathered friend out and about in the community, meeting the kids and bringing the fun to special events.
The mascot will make another special appearance at the Christmas Fun Day for Kids at Club Banora on Sunday 14 December from 11am NSW.

Black Cockatoos are often described as messengers, sometimes warning of shifts in the environment or weather.
The close, caring and protective relationships amongst their flocks is a powerful reminder for human ‘flocks’, or communities – of the importance of kinship, unity, cooperation and above all, shared purpose.
We thought this was the perfect representation of Twinnies Gives, its role in our local community, and its capacity for giving, sharing and supporting those that need a helping hand.
