Local community organisation, Shaping Outcomes, received $28,000 from Twin Towns to fund their First Steps program, which provides early childhood intervention supports to children with disabilities and developmental delays.
The donation enabled Shaping Outcomes to provide Key Worker support packages to local families whose children experienced recent diagnoses. The funding will equip these families with the tools they need to navigate the complex disability sector including NDIS.
CEO Colin Usher said Twin Towns has been an amazing supporter of Shaping Outcomes for the past four decades.
“With the help of Twin Towns and ClubGRANTS, we have been able to supply ongoing Early Childhood Development supports for local children and families.
“The 40-plus year relationship has also helped fund the building of our offices, teaching and therapy rooms.”
