A donation of $15,600 from the Twin Towns Services Community Foundation has helped keep phone lines open during the past year at Lifeline’s Northern Rivers Crisis Support Centre.
Across Australia, over one million calls for help are answered by Lifeline volunteers every year.
At their Lismore office, the hardworking team of volunteers take up to 900 calls a month to support nationwide demand. Many callers are reaching out in their darkest moments.
If you, or someone you know needs crisis support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14. They are available 24/7.
